When I bought my home, it was over run by ivy, virginia creeper, and nasty ugly hedges. I dont know if Im happy to report or not but Ive seemed to have killed almost everything......
Ive been thinking about that and Im likening my yard to my life.....heres some pictures to show you what I mean.....
Here we have My Life the last 6 years....dead, ugly, boring and lonely.....These are the nasty hedges I killed last summer to be removed.
This is Lemon Thyme I planted last year...its one variety...it hasnt gotten very big...but it came back this year to try again.....
This is the other Lemon Thyme that I planted last year....it was the same size as the one above but it really really likes its locaton and has thrived!
Here we have Vinca....I planted 4 small vincas the summer I bought the house. The first year I didnt get the little flowers....but the second year I did....and now......
This is the rock bed that the Vinca have grown crazy in! It tickles me pink every time I see it!So there you have it.....my yard kinda resembles my life.....
Things are starting blossom and look good!
